Setting Up Email Accounts in Outlook Express
Welcome to our tutorial for setting up email accounts in Outlook Express.
Before we begin, please make sure that you have already created your email account in your main control panel. For help on creating email accounts, please go here.
1. Start off by opening Outlook Express.
Email accounts are setup through the Internet Connection Wizard. To open the wizard, click on "tools" (on the top bar) and on the dropdown menu, select "accounts".
A dialog box should popup (as shown below).

2. Click on the "Add" button, then select "Mail...". The Internet Connection Wizard should now open up.
3. The first screen requests your name that you wish to be displayed in the From: field of your outgoing emails. Enter the name you wish to be displayed (as shown below).
Once entered, click Next >

4. The next screen requests the email address you would like to setup an account for. Once entered, click Next >
5. The next screen requires you to enter your incoming & outgoing mail servers. Please use the following details:
My Incoming mail server is a: POP3 server.
Incoming mail (POP3) server: mail.yourdomain.com
Outgoing mail (SMTP) server: mail.yourdomain.com
NOTE: Substitute yourdomain.com with your domain name.
Continue by clicking Next >
6. The next to last step prompts you to enter your account name and password.
For your account name, you must enter your full email address (ie. yourusername@yourdomain.com).
Enter your password in the password field, check the "Remember password" box if you do not wish to enter your password every single time you want to check your email.
Then continue by clicking Next >, and then Finish on the following screen.
You will now see your account name in the Internet Accounts section (as shown below).

7. For the final step, double-click on the account name of your new made account.
The Properties window will popup. Start off by clicking the Servers tab.
Then under the Outgoing Mail Server section at the bottom, just check the checkbox next to "My server requires authentication", and click OK.
Congratulation! Your account should now be successfully setup and ready to send/receive email in Outlook Express. We suggest you test it out just to confirm that it does work correctly.
